Maybe a loved one has been resistant to the gospel or someone who you've been praying for hasn't got well. In the book of Habakkuk, the prophet cries out to God and says, "How long, O LORD, must call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, violence!" but you do not save? " We have a God we can cry out to. When we're frustrated at something or when we feel that same sense of holy discontent we can take the advice of the writer to the Hebrews and "approach the throne of grace with confidence"(Hebrews 4: 16) knowing that way's has been made clear by Jesus and that God cares about what we care about.   God's reply to Habakkuk is telling, He says, "Look at the nations and watch-and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. Never lose that sense of holy discontent for it’s through that discontent that God is able to usher in his miraculous, life-changing power. Is it a loved ones salvation or do you long to see someone miraculously healed? Whatever it is, we serve a God who listens, answers and acts. Be prepared to be utterly amazed.
